So I went and saw Kill Bill Vol.2 tonight! I haven’t been to a movie in a while.I loved it, but I think I might have liked the first one better because I like Gogo. She kicks ass! haha It might have had to do with the intermission we had. In the middle of the movie I see a flash out of the corner of my eye and thought who is the dumb ass taking a picture in the middle of the movie. I was about to get my own Hattori Hanzo sword and kill them. Then the lights come up and the flashing persists. The a voice says, “this is a fire alarm. Please leave at the nearest exit.” Come to find out some little kid pulled the damn thing and now I have to go stand in the cold and wait. We did get a free pass and finished the movie 20-min later.

As much as I like Playdough I hate finding it smashed into my sweater! This is why I don’t want kids.

So No more babysitting the 15 year old and her perv ass older brother. All i have to say is they pay great and it’s paying for my trip to Ghana. Only 2 weeks from today and I’m leaving to go back! I’m so excited. My friend katie and I have decided not to buy malaria pills here before we go because we can buy them there for a total of $4 for our hole trip. While here it would cost me over $130. I”l take the $4 malaria pills thank you. I’m so excited because I get to see my friend Habib again. He is going to school back east but he is going to be in Ghana while we are there. I get so happy just thinking about going back! On the way home we are going to stop in London for lunch with Alidu and do some shopping. How you say? We have a REALLY LONG LAYOVER!

Only 2 days until the week of hell is over. I’ve been watching a 15 year old and her dumb ass 18 year old brother (who has graduated and is doing nothing in his life but living in his parents basement)for a week. Man these kids suck. You think they would be old enough to stay home by themselves. They seem to get in a lot of trouble. I’m guessing they are not too smart since they are getting caught by their parents. I never got caught. EVER! So I have to watch them. and make sure they don’t do anything dumb. ha.

So I had my final interview at the Peace Corps office in Denver yesterday. I went well. They nominated me to go to Africa, but where i do not know. And won’t find out for a while. I Won’t be leaving until January, unless sometnig changes. I’m excited!

So I don’t have a job……so i get a call from the place that was going to hire me today and told me it wasn’t going to work out becasue I;m leaving in month. But that I should call her when I get back in June. AHHHH!!! I HATE JOBS!!!!! DAMN IT!!

I GOT A JOB!!!! It’s nothing special……and It’s part time but hey it’s something. I didn’t think I was going to get it since I was leaving in a month and felt guilty and had to tell them but they hired me anyway. Woo hoo…….

on a side note….it sems that none of my pants fit me. even when I have a belt on. very time I start dancing my pants start to fall down. So weird. I just have a weird shaped body. haha

So I was watching MTV while I was sewing today. I glanced at the TV and started to watch this commercial. All of a sudden I see my friend Bryson. Wait ….was that him. Then they show him again. It is! what the……? It’s a Ralph Lauren Commercial for jeans. Man so crazy He’s the camp counselor.

Well So I had my interview today! It went really well……..until…….I told them I was leaving in a month. I know I shouldn’t have told them but I felt guilty. So I probably blew it. oh well

I really can’t wait to go to Ghana. Thats all I’m looking forward to. I just feel like my life stuck in a rut. Same thing everyday. I need some stimulation that I’m definitely not getting here. I need to change it. I know going to Ghana isn’t the best way to fix the problem at this moment in my life due to my financial situation but, my heart is telling me to go. I’ve felt this way for a year since I got back last summer. I know I won’t regret it. I just can’t wait to walk into the cultural center and see the looks on Paul, Slow, Sampson, and Limon’s faces. We have decided not to tell them we are coming and surprise them. Oh god it’s going to be so much fun!

Then Reality will strike when I get back. It will suck. hardcore. My father has decided that If I don’t have a job by May, which is when I’m leaving that I will have to move home. The situation now is that they bought the house that I live in and my roommates pay my rent basically. but since i’m out of school I should be paying rent now. I hate life.

I’ll live anywhere before I have to move back home to Greeality. thats torture. I have no friends there. I think I would become very depressed if I had to live there. Seriously!

I’ll move to Chicago or Atlanta. Or maybe this Peace Corps thing will work out. I’ll find out Thursday.

So I’m so excited to be going back to Ghana! It’s going to be so much fun! I picked up my friendDela today from teh airport. He flew in from Ghana for the weekend! It’s almost been a year since I have seen him but it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long at all. We had our 4th annual highlife show this past Friady. It was so much fun! The energy was awesome. But I have to say I HATED our costumes. Or should I say I hated the tops. Too small for my chest. but I had to wear it anyway. haha I looked like an idiot. Check out the photosthey are really bad quality but hey too bad…..and Video. Nevermind the Video is to big to post. It was a lot of fun. We sold about 1200 tickets to the show! Crazy!
other than that life is ok……Sorta……..It’s going to suck this summer.
