So Friday I sang at Macky Auditorium. It was so much fun. There were 1500 +people there. I remember when we would play for 100 people at Grusin. So crazy. This guy Okyerema Asante (who played with Paul Simon on his Graceland Tour, and with Fleetwood Mac) played with us.. He Is an AWESOME percussionist. So good! It was an Amazing show. I have had people yelling out of their cars at me as the drive by telling me how good the show was. I have been recognized several times. It’s so weird. I’m Famous. HA! Right! But here comes the kicker. After the show I head downstairs to the dressing room where I hear my friends Bret and Jon saying they can’t find their wallets. As they are saying this I am looking in my bag for some chapstick when I notice Mine is not in my bag and then my friend Mary say hers is gone too. Someone during the show stole our stuff. IT SUCKED!!!!!! SUCH A PAIN IN MY ASS!!. Thing is between the 4 of us the person only got 30 some bucks. So the next morning I call to cancel my card and found out there was some attempted uses on it. That dummy went to a ATM on campus and tried to get money out when they didn’t know my pin # and there are cameras all around. So I hope we catch him. I the police are getting the footage and I have to go and look to see if I know who it is. I hope in some way it’s not someone I know. Kinda scary. you don’t realize how badly you need that stuff. I went to get some gas before I drove home to see my friend Anne. Pupmped it went to pay with a check and they needed my Drivers license #. I explained to them what happened and said I have my passport. that didn’t work so he took down my passport # and asked me If I could return later and pay with cash. Hello did you not hear what I said. I don’t have a ATM card, credit card or anything thing to let me get money. Plus it’s a sunday banks are not open. So when I got home I had to have my parents give me money so that when I returned to Boulder I could go back and pay the gass man. such a pain!

I have been hired to design and make some costumes for this African dance show. Should be interesting. Don’t have much time to sew these things which can make things fun. Not really!
